We all made it to the Arctic Circle. When we left Fairbanks it was in the upper 50's. At one point it was 44 with a strong wind but at the Arctic Circle it was 66 degrees. We followed the pipeline up the road and across the Yukon River. The same one in Dawson city. We encountered 2 fires, 4 Black Bears and a Moose. A lot of trucks. Not what we had expected, but; we've been there and done that so we'll mark it off the bucket list. The Dalton Hwy (Ice Road) was not as bad as the Elliott Hwy which is paved. Leaving today headed south to Denali National Park and Mt. Denali.
