We made it out of Death Valley and headed for Mojave, CA. On the way we saw a sign for the China Date Farm. Only seven miles of the highway. We decided to check it out since we all like dates. Well, it's ok for the Truck Campers but NOT for the motorhome. Check out the road through the dirt wall and it was rough. Would not advise taking anything big in there . We finally got everyone out and on the way to Mojave. The country is beautiful. Spent the nite in Mojave thenon to Coarsegold and Park Sierra where we'll be a week.
