Well it's been several days now since the last posting. We've left the lower 48 and headed North to Alaska thru Canada. We had fun at the Border up 95 in Idaho. The young Agents were feeling their oats and searched all  of us. When they could only find a Guitar Strap in Bennitt's Guitar Case, they just knew that we had Gun's. To them it was a Rilfe strap. After that we headed north to Banff National Park then Jasper National Park. Many many beaautiful sites and lots of animals. We spent a few days in Whistlers campground in Jasper NP.

We saw many Elk along the way

Ain't we cute in front of the frozen lake

Bushnell, FL folks, the Fence and Tree has arrived in Canada. It slipped thru Customs undected.

The West Coast Drive North

After a week off of the  road at Park Sierra in Coarsegold, CA we hit the road again on Wednesday the 11th of May. We enjoyed our time at Park Sierra with friends Billie and George Capelle. We'll miss them in Deming this fall. We hit the road toward Napa's Wine country that we've all heard sooooooo much about. Got to Napa and was not impressed at all. Spent one night and left. Headed toward hwy 101 up the West coast. Hwy 101 was an impressive drive up thru California and into Oregon. We stop for the night in Scotia, CA in a RV park that had been logged in 1993 (according to the workamper) and we parked next to the stump and it had sprouted. In the picture above you can get a comparison in size. Just click on any photo and it will enlarge.

From the oposite side the Mason's Motor home just about blocked as well as out truck.

They take the Burl's and Sprout them into new Redwoods.

Up thru the middle of the Redwood Forest.

Sha Sha & Wanda

The wild flowers ARE beautiful

Seals on the beach. No it's not Sharon, Bea and Wanda, but they do look a lot alike.

Still in CA

Don't know what this i.s but beautiful. Growing next to a Redwood

Oregon Coast

We've seen enough today, can we just get out and run around. We stop for the night in Coos Bay, OR. We had hoped that Bruce and Lorraine would be here but the've not left Deming, NM yet. Bruce said that he lucked out. (he'll pay for that). We're having fun.
